Prioritising your health & safety
All staff have completed Safework COVID-19 training. This means our staff are equipped with the knowledge to implement regular sanitation every hour, in addition to our standard rigorous cleaning practices.

You will notice some changes around our venues. We have removed a number of internal doors to reduce touch points, increased the number of hand sanitiser stations available, put up new signs to remind everyone to remain vigilant and cleared our tables in our dining areas.

The Club Courtesy Bus will not be operating due to risk of virus transmission, and the Club elevators will be available only to those with limited mobility and a carer if necessary to maintain social distancing.

Diners will receive table service, disposable menus and their cutlery/condiments brought to them for increased safety. An increase to the tap-and-go EFTPOS card limit up to $200 from 1st June will assist with further reducing touch points.

Our Club entry procedures have been modified to provide a high level of safety:
1) Follow signage directions for entry.
2) Follow staff instructions to receive a temperature check.
3) Present your Membership card or valid ID to staff when signing in.
4) Keep your Membership card or sign in slip on you at all times.
5) Follow signage directions for exit.

Club staff will be wearing a sticker to demonstrate their valid temperature check, and will be encouraged to be retested during their shift if their health changes. You can view our COVID-19 Health & Safety measures here.

We are all in this together, and I appreciate your help in abiding by our venue limits and maintaining social distancing of 1.5 metres at all times. We encourage you to use our hand sanitiser stations and promote good hygiene. The COVID-Safe app is available for download here. And of course, if you feel unwell, please seek medical advice, get tested and stay home until you recover.

These are challenging times, however with your cooperation, we can start our journey back to normal on 1st June. Both Eels Lane at Parra Leagues and Vikings Sports Club will be open to 10 Members and guests this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Sincerely yours,

Bevan Paul
