Becoming a parent is a lifechanging experience, ask any parent you know. Sadly there are some parents who Be part of something truly meaningful this September 12th as PARRA comes together for the Miracle Moon Walk 2026, supporting the Miracle Babies Foundation — Australia’s leading organisation helping families impacted by premature or sick newborns.
Each year, more than 48,000 babies across Australia require care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery. This magical, family-friendly evening walk brings the community together to raise vital funds and awareness, helping give these babies the strongest possible start to life.
Dress up in purple or teal and arrive early for a sausage sizzle, ice cream, kids’ face painting, games and our official welcome ceremony! Don’t forget to bring your picnic rugs and soak up the great atmosphere.

Date: Saturday 12 September 2026
Time: The hub opens from 3pm with the walk starting at 5pm.
Location: Sydney (Hub location to be announced – stay tuned)
Distance: Approx. 7km (1.5–2 hours, with option to shorten)
Cost: $75 per person | Children under 12 FREE
Registration includes: entry, event bib, map, Miracle Moon Walk bandana, drawstring backpack, finish line medal, glow sticks, entertainment and other goodies along the way!
