Connecting Our Superheroes
Parra Leagues were lucky to partner with two fantastic organisations in this joint initiative of bringing two of our community partners together for a great outcome for sick kids. Both Ronald McDonald House Charities, Western Sydney and Supertee are long standing partners of Parra Leagues Club. We donate in excess of $30,000 to both these organisations each year.
The Supertee garment is provided to eligible families for free to relieve pain and discomfort of sick children facing life threatening illnesses, many parents caring for sick children often giving up their job to be bedside with their child. Since its launch back in June 2018, the Supertee has been welcomed by all major children’s hospitals around Australia. Over 90% of the funds raised have been from individual sponsorship in an attempt to provide these to families in hospital for free.
The packs were then hand delivered by the Parra Leagues team with Supertee to a family of both Supertee and Ronald McDonald House with a young child being treated for cancer.
Parra Leagues were delighted to make this connection and was a true representation of funding a program, being involved in the process of putting the packs together and having it hand delivered to the recipient, ultimately bringing these two wonderful charities together.

Jump for Sick Kids
In partnership with Parramatta Eels, Parra Leagues Club have partnered with PCYC in a 3-year agreement starting in 2021 to provide funding of $25,000 per year to support their GRIT program in the Parramatta catchment. The GRIT program blends fitness, creative arts and experimental learning activities with nutrition education and mental resilience skills training, to develop more well-rounded resilient kids, better equipped to cope with life’s ups and downs.
Driven by our purpose ‘to bring together our community and support local causes, sport and the Parra Eels to promote wellbeing, happiness and pride’, this project aligned perfectly in creating synergy between PCYC, Parramatta Eels and Parra Leagues.
