It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Mr Kevin Ingram OAM, Life member and Patron of the Parramatta Junior Rugby League.

Kevin made a significant contribution to the game of Rugby League as a player in his younger days, then becoming an administrator in 1964, and was a true embodiment of the principles of the game in terms of mate ship, camaraderie, and team spirit. It was his true passion and joy and with it he built relationships that lasted a lifetime.

For more than 50 years, Kevin worked in many roles in the Rugby League Community including Secretary of the Liverpool JRLFC, Vice President, Treasurer and selector of the Parramatta JRLFC, as well as his roles as a board member and president of the Mounties Group. As a result, he achieved many honours including Life membership of the Liverpool JRLFC, Parramatta JRLFC, Parramatta NRL Club, Mounties, & Mounties Men’s Lawn Bowls.

Kevin’s dedication saw him recognised for his contribution to the game of rugby league receiving the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2020. A truly worthy honour for a lifetime of service. Our club owes much to Kevin Ingram OAM. He was a beacon within the rugby league community. He was a person of the finest integrity who set an outstanding example for us all, and he will be greatly missed.
