It is with sadness to inform you that a former Parramatta Leagues Club Director Tony Garnett has passed away. Tony was on the Board from 1987 – 1991 where he was Chairman of the Marketing Committee during a time when the Clubs marketing activities expanded.

Tony was an avid Parra fan who lived in the Parramatta area for more than 24 years. He worked for years at West City Holden who were a Premier Patron sponsor of the Parramatta Eels and several other junior sporting teams.

Tony received an Order of Australia (OAM) in 2005 for service to the community as a benefactor to a range of charitable and sporting organisations, and to the motor industry.
