Parramatta Leagues Club supports Parramatta Mission’s Festival of Christmas

Parramatta Leagues Club was proud to stand alongside Parramatta Mission as a major supporter of their annual Festival of Christmas, an initiative that brings hope, dignity and practical support to families doing it tough during the festive season.

For many in our community, Christmas can be a time of increased pressure – particularly for parents and families facing financial hardship or homelessness. Through the Festival of Christmas, Parramatta Mission ensures that no parent carries that burden alone, no child goes without a present, and no family misses out on essential groceries and support.

This year, Parramatta Leagues Club was honoured to contribute a $50,000 grant, helping make this week of generosity possible. Our support reflects our ongoing commitment to Western Sydney and to organisations making a meaningful difference in the lives of local people.

In addition to financial support, more than 40 staff members from across the PARRA Group – including Parramatta Leagues Club, Dural Club and Vikings Sports Club – volunteered their time to assist with hampers, shared meals and community connection. Together, they helped spread joy and kindness to those who need it most.

Highlights of the Festival include extra-filled Christmas hampers, shared meals, a live band, and moments of connection – including the special Christmas Lunch, where the community comes together to celebrate belonging and dignity.
