“Giving back and being part of the community is something we are extremely passionate about. Our contribution to the Parramatta Junior Rugby League is a significant investment in the next generation of rugby league players, and at grassroots enables thousands of girls and boys to play the sport they love”, said Parramatta Leagues Club CEO, Chris Dimou.

“Our long-term partnership with the Junior Rugby League reflects our commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting the sport at the grassroots level. By working closely with the Parramatta Junior Rugby League, we aim to provide opportunities for young players to develop their skills, stay active, and cultivate a love for the game. This collaboration is a testament to our dedication to making rugby league the great sport that it is for everyone involved,” said Phil Sim, Director of Parramatta Leagues Club and Chair of the Community Committee.

“By funding the cost of insurance and referee’s fees for junior participants, affiliated Clubs maintain close to $40 per registration, and with the current cost of living pressures it ensures that the price of participation for families is kept as low as possible,” said Mark Jenkins.

Other initiatives such as the Great Aussie Boot Swap which was conducted at the Parramatta Leagues Club provide added help for families across the District.
