An honour to host the Parramatta LGA ClubGRANTS Ceremony at Jacks Cucina
Parramatta Leagues Club were honoured to host this year’s Parramatta LGA ClubGRANTS Ceremony at our very own Jacks Cucina, overlooking CommBank Stadium.
The event brought together local clubs, council representatives, and community leaders for a day of celebration, generosity, and recognition of the incredible organisations making a difference in our region.
Our core mission is to make a lasting impact on our community, and we are honoured to support exceptional organisations through the Parramatta LGA ClubGRANTS program.
The ClubGRANTS program is a vital initiative that empowers clubs across New South Wales to give back to the communities that support them. In the Parramatta LGA, this collaboration continues to grow stronger each year. This year’s ceremony was a powerful reminder of how much can be achieved when clubs, council, and community work together with a shared vision.
Supporting Our Community Together
In 2025, the Category 1 funding round attracted 185 applications, with local organisations seeking more than $3.5 million to support their projects. While the demand was immense, local clubs stepped up with remarkable generosity, collectively contributing $939,502 across the region.
This funding supports programs across vital sectors including health services, youth development, education, road safety, family support, and social inclusion. From grassroots charities to larger organisations, each recipient plays a crucial role in building a stronger, more resilient, and connected community.
Collaboration in Action
A total of nine local clubs participated in this year’s allocation: Carlingford Bowling Club, Club Parramatta, Dundas Sports Club, The Epping Club, Northmead Bowling Club, Rosehill Bowling Club, Toongabbie Sports Club, Vikings Sports Club, and Parramatta Leagues Club. Together, these clubs demonstrated the power of unity and the impact of shared community values.
We were privileged to support a wide range of organisations through the 2025 program, including:
- Mobileyes and Dental Foundation Limited
- PCYC NSW
- Learning Links
- Be Unstoppable Foundation Ltd
- Road Safety Education Limited
- Success Works Partners Inc
- The Top Blokes Foundation
- SHINE for Kids Co-operative
- The Sebastian Foundation

During the ceremony, Stephanie Raileqe, Community Grants Officer – Community Capacity Building at Parramatta City Council, shared her gratitude for the partnerships driving the initiative forward:
“I am honoured to recognise the extraordinary collaboration between our Council, the generous local clubs and the dedicated community organisations that form the backbone of our social infrastructure. I truly believe that this teamwork demonstrates the profound impact that we can achieve when government, business and community sectors unite around our shared vision for a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Parramatta. While the participating sports clubs involved could not support every worthy project, their generosity has been able to allocate $939,502 to organisations across the sectors. This represents a significant increase from last year’s distribution – a testament to our growing commitment to community support.”
A Shared Commitment
At Parra Leagues, we are proud to play our part in this collective effort. Hosting the 2025 ClubGRANTS Ceremony at Jacks Cucina was more than an honour – it was an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work of community organisations and reaffirm our commitment to supporting them.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Parramatta City Council, our fellow local clubs, and the community organisations who inspire us with their dedication and resilience. Together, we are shaping a stronger, more inclusive future for Parramatta.
