Dural Club Celebrates a Successful Grand Reopening and Exciting Rebrand
October 3, 2024 – Dural Club recently marked a significant milestone with a vibrant grand reopening of its newly renovated facilities in Dural. This event highlights the club’s commitment to enhancing member experiences and strengthening community ties.
Following the amalgamation with Parramatta Leagues Club in August 2023, Dural Club has undergone an impressive transformation. This strategic partnership has led to substantial investments that have revamped the venue, aligning it with the evolving needs of our growing community. The infusion of new resources has invigorated Dural Club, setting the stage for an enriched experience for all members.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth in the area and heard the community’s call for a refreshed space that reflects the vibrant, intergenerational families we serve,” shared President Greg Monaghan. “With over 8,000 members in the Hills area across the Parra Leagues Club group, Dural Club will provide these members with amenities conveniently closer to home. Our goal with this rebrand and renovation is to create a welcoming environment where every member of the family can find joy, celebration and connection.”
The revamped venue features an open-plan layout, a new bar and café, spacious function rooms, a dedicated kids’ play area, and lawn bowls facilities. This renovation embodies our vision of a club designed for the community, providing exceptional dining, memorable events, and engaging entertainment.
Chris Dimou, Chief Executive Officer, expressed his enthusiasm about the changes: “Dural Club has always been a vital part of our community. We have members who have grown up at Dural Club, marking significant life milestones such as christenings, birthday parties, and engagements. With these renovations, we now have the capability to facilitate weddings as well, enhancing our role in celebrating the most cherished moments in our members’ lives. It’s not just about a new look but about deepening the connections and celebrations we share.”
The grand reopening event on September 29, 2024, was a fantastic day filled with joy and community spirit. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us, including our wonderful members, local community members, Hills Shire Mayor Michelle Byrne, Castle Hill Liberal Party MP Mark Hodges, Councillor Mitchell Blue and Councillor Frank De Masi. The celebration featured delicious food trucks, a function showcase, live music, free kids’ activities, inflatables, and so much more.
