It is with great sadness that the Parramatta Junior Rugby League (PJRL) acknowledge the passing of Paul Griffin, a devoted member of the Hills Bulls, major supporter of the PJRL, and the game of Rugby League in our community.
Paul’s passion for the sport, his unwavering dedication to the development of young players, and his selfless commitment to grassroots Rugby League have left a lasting legacy that will be felt for many years to come.
Mark Jenkins, Chairperson of the PJRL, paid tribute to Paul’s impact on grassroots Rugby League.
“Paul Griffin was a true stalwart of Rugby League, especially within our junior ranks. His commitment to the Hills Bulls and the Parramatta Junior League over so many years has been extraordinary.
“Paul’s support for our young players and the entire Rugby League community was deeply rooted in his love for the game and his belief in the value of sport to inspire and shape young lives.”
As a long-standing member and supporter of the Hills Bulls, Paul’s influence extended far beyond the sidelines. He was a constant presence, offering encouragement and support to players, coaches, and families alike.
“His passion and generosity have left an indelible mark on the Hills Bulls and the broader Rugby League community across the Parramatta district.”
