Dear Members and patrons,
Many of you are aware of the recent events that have occurred at licensed premises in NSW, resulting in their closure for various periods of time.
At Parra Leagues and Vikings Sports Club, we take our responsibilities in this process very seriously. Our venues are compliant with our COVID-19 Safety Plan and are registered with NSW Health as COVID Safe Venues. Our strict cleaning processes have been stepped up since reopening in June, and all practical measures have been put in place to protect the health, safety and welfare of our patrons and staff.
In addition to providing your contact details, your temperature is also checked upon entry. COVID-Safe Marshalls are on duty at all times to ensure that social distancing is being observed. Staff are tasked with regularly sanitising high touch points including gaming machines, tables, chairs, tenpin bowling balls and bathroom facilities throughout our Clubs.
These actions are in place to maintain the safety and well-being of patrons and staff within our venues. Co-operation with Club staff is obligatory for all Members, guests and visitors. You can assist in this process by staying home if you feel unwell or have any symptoms associated with COVID-19.
If you have come into contact with someone who has tested positive, please promptly visit a GP, a COVID-19 Testing Clinic or your doctor and be guided by their health advice.
If you have visited any of the latest COVID-19 case locations in NSW, Victoria or VIC/NSW border communities, I respectfully ask on behalf of all Members, staff, our community groups, and the Parramatta Eels, that you do not visit Parra Leagues or Vikings Sports Club until your results confirm that you do not have COVID-19.
