Dear Members,
We’d like to share an update from the Parra Leagues Club Board.
After several years of dedicated service, Director Joy Cusack has concluded her time on the Board. Joy has been a passionate advocate for our members, strengthening governance and compliance while ensuring that member engagement and feedback remained at the heart of every discussion.
Reflecting on her time with Parra Leagues, Chief Executive Chris Dimou said: “Over the last six years, Joy has been a passionate supporter of our members and a familiar face around the Club. Joy played a key role in helping us rebuild strong governance during a challenging time and her presence at community and member events always showed how much she cares about the Club and its future. We thank Joy sincerely for her commitment and insight into our great club, she will always be part of the Parra Leagues family.
In line with the Club’s Constitution, the Board has appointed Stephen Bull to fill the casual vacancy. Stephen brings a wealth of experience as a non-executive director and former CEO of Stockland, with deep expertise across property and community development. Stephen will serve until the next Annual General Meeting(AGM) in February 2026 before submitting his nomination for Director as part of our annual election process.
A long-time Parra Leagues member and passionate Eels supporter, Stephen has already contributed his time through our Property & Development Committee and is focused on helping deliver the Parramatta Live vision.
President Mark Jenkins shared: “Joy’s contribution to our organisation has been outstanding. Her governance expertise and commitment to members strengthened our Board and our Club. We’re also pleased to welcome Stephen, whose experience in major projects and property development will be invaluable as we move forward.”
We thank both Joy and Stephen for their dedication to Parra Leagues and our members, and we look forward to continuing this next chapter together.
Warm regards,
Mark Jenkins
